1. Are there any Odometer or Trip Meter features on the DYAYLYRIDE e-bike?
Yes!
All DAYLYRIDE electric bikes are equipped with an LCD display that includes an odometer and trip meter.
The odometer records the total distance traveled by the e-bike. A trip meter, on the other hand, specifically records the distance traveled during each trip.
In addition, the display will also display speed data, assist level, battery indicator, mileage display.
Both the odometer and trip meter can be easily adjusted to suit your needs via the settings menu.
2. How do I know how long it will take to charge my battery?
Take a 2A charger and a 48V 17AH battery as an example:
Charging Time = Battery Capacity/Charger Current
17AH/2A=8.5h
Then it takes about 8.5 hours for the battery to be fully charged.
Others can also be calculated according to the formula "Charging Time = Battery Capacity/Charger Current"
3. Can I clean my DAYLYRIDE electric bicycle? How should I clean it?
- Frame and Tires: To clean the frame and tires, use a damp cloth with a small amount of soap if necessary. It's best to clean your bike soon after it becomes dirty to prevent difficult-to-remove residues.
- Disc Brakes: When cleaning the disc brakes, use only water. Soap residue can cause the brakes to squeal, so it's important to avoid using any cleaning agents on them.
- LCD and Battery Assembly: The LCD and battery assembly should not be washed directly with water. Instead, wring out a damp towel and gently wipe them. After cleaning, ensure that there is no water left on their surfaces or inside.
- Connectors: When cleaning the connectors, use only compressed air. If necessary, you can use 90% alcohol to clean them. Be cautious and avoid using excessive force.
- Drivetrain Lubrication: It's recommended to consult with a local bike mechanic for advice on drivetrain lubrication based on your specific weather conditions. They can provide recommendations on the best lubricants to use.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a professional if you have any concerns about cleaning your electric bike.

5. Can DAYLYRIDE mountain and commuting bikes function in extreme weather conditions, such as hot, cold, rainy, snowy, or on mountainous and hilly terrain?
Absolutely! Our DAYLYRIDE e-bikes are designed to perform well in a wide range of weather conditions and on various types of terrain.
However, it is essential to prioritize safety and take necessary precautions when riding in challenging conditions. Here are some guidelines for riding a DAYLYRIDE e-bike in specific scenarios:
Hot Weather: Make sure to stay hydrated and dress appropriately for the heat. Avoid riding during the hottest parts of the day and take breaks in shaded areas if needed.
Cold Weather: Dress in layers to stay warm and consider wearing thermal or insulated clothing. Be cautious of icy or slippery surfaces and adjust your riding style accordingly.
Rainy weather: Wear waterproof clothing and ensure your e-bike's components are properly protected from moisture. Exercise caution when braking, as wet surfaces may reduce traction.
Snowy Weather: Use tires with appropriate tread for better grip on snowy surfaces. Be extra cautious when riding in snow, as it can affect stability and control.
Mountainous and Hilly Terrain: Our e-bikes are equipped with powerful motors and robust frames, making them suitable for tackling steep inclines and rugged terrains. However, it is crucial to ride within your skill level and exercise caution when descending slopes.
Remember, always prioritize your safety and follow local regulations and guidelines when riding in different conditions.
Off-Road Riding:
Before embarking on off-road riding with your e-bike, it is crucial to verify the local regulations to ensure that off-road e-bike riding is permitted. Additionally, it is important to wear appropriate safety gear and avoid riding alone in remote areas.
In Various Weather Conditions:
Our e-bikes have undergone rigorous testing in extreme weather conditions, including hot, cold, rainy, and snowy environments, to ensure their reliability and performance. This is made possible by the meticulous design and utilization of high-quality materials in components such as the LCD, motor, battery pack, and throttle.
Exercise extra caution when riding in foggy, wet, or icy conditions. Limited visibility caused by heavy fog necessitates the use of reflective clothing and proper bike headlights. Wet and icy surfaces can be particularly slippery, despite the excellent anti-skid properties of our e-bike tires. While the tires enhance traction, it is still important to reduce speed and avoid riding on slippery roads.
Riding Mountain or Hilly Terrain:
Climbing and descending hills with an unloaded bike is generally manageable. However, when carrying cargo, the bike's climbing ability, steering, and braking may be affected. Distribute the weight of your cargo as low as possible and practice controlling the cargo bike in flat, open areas before venturing onto mountainous or hilly terrain.
When riding on steep hills or ascending hilly terrain, it is advisable to pedal to alleviate strain on the motor. Maintaining a reasonable and steady pace helps avoid excessive power demand at low speeds, which can burden the motor. Pedaling assists in keeping the bike in motion without excessive power output, thereby prolonging the motor's lifespan. If possible, plan your route to avoid excessively steep hills.
